We want to be on the cutting edge of what God wants us to do. There have been some changes in this ministry to the deaf of Baja California and Mexico. The Lynch Family moved to Fort Worth, Texas so that Ralph can finish his Master of Divinity degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. The Suarez are continuing leading the deaf ministry at Calvary Chapel Horizon. An average of 15 deaf people regularly attend the deaf Sunday school but with the arrival of the summer season and the end of the school year, the attendance should be higher. Furthermore, Michelle and Lonnie Pfingston are still hard at work with their ministry, Baja Compassion. Lonnie is teaching some men who desire to learn craftman skills such as masonry, carpentry and electricity with the hope that the deaf men can find better jobs. He is also helping Pastor Carlos Suarez wherever needed to lead the ministry. Please pray for the deaf community and the deaf Christians of Ensenada that they can know God's passionate love and His callings for them. |
